You Matter at MVA
MVA Behavioral Health Services helps individuals and families affected by substance use, mental health concerns, and other life challenges. We provide compassionate, personalized support to help people find hope, strengthen their well-being, and move toward lasting recovery.
You do not need to know exactly what type of service you need before contacting MVA. Our caring team will listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and help you identify the support or services that may be right for you or your family. The first step is simply reaching out.”
*Contacting MVA does not obligate someone to enter treatment.
How We Can Help
Peer Recovery Coaching
A peer recovery coach is someone with lived experience who understands the challenges of addiction and recovery and provides encouragement, guidance, and practical support. Peers can help with setting goals, developing a recovery plan, connecting with treatment, attending recovery meetings, and finding helpful community resources. You can speak with a peer recovery coach even if you have not decided whether treatment is right for you.”
Engagement Group
We have weekly Engagement Groups that are open to people who are considering change, seeking support, or wanting to learn more about recovery. Food is served during these meetings. Participants do not need to be established MVA clients and registration is not required.
- Tuesday from 7am – 8am; Rise and Recover Group
- Thursday from 12pm – 1pm; Lunchbox Group
- Both located at our Adrian office 770 Riverside Ave Suite 10 in the basement. Our building is located right across the street from Adrian High School.
- More groups coming soon, at a location near you!
Transportation or Lenawee Transportation tokens may be available upon request.
