There is Hope
Since 1974, Hope House has been a supportive, controlled transitional living residence for men with alcohol or drug related problems. When a person is addicted to alcohol or drugs, what they need is not another drink, pill, or fix, but hope. Hope is breaking the cycle of substance abuse and experiencing recovery in life. This is not only recovery from substance abuse, but also regaining of relationships, improving self-esteem, and renewing enthusiasm for living. It is our mission to expose our residents to the various components of a healthy lifestyle. Through our programs residents will learn to balance work, rest, relationships, and recreation in a functional, clean and sober manner.

Hope House is a HOME
While at Hope House, residents are expected to take an active part in the home and their recovery by putting practical recovery skills to use in everyday life. Residents are expected to play a role in taking care of the house grounds, assisting with chores, and following the House program. Such activities encourage the development of meaningful relationships between housemates, and generally promote an environment rich in support and teamwork. The residents also attend daily A.A./N.A. meetings both on site and off as schedules permit. Peer Support is available on a daily basis. Residents are encouraged and required to seek and maintain employment as soon as they are ready and able to work.
